Your basic professional installation includes:
  • Mounting of antenna on the exterior of your residence
  • Installation of up to 100ft high performance RG6 (2 Cables)
  • Cable routing from the dish to the modem location with a single wall penetration
  • Grounding of RG6 up to 20ft
  • Weather sealing of the exterior wall penetration
  • Peaking of satellite signal and testing of satellite internet system for maximum performance
  • Hook up of modem to 1 computer
  • Instruction of satellite modem
  • Instruction of Xplornet webmail (We will not configure outlook or any email program on your computer)
Additional charges (if necessary; payable at end of installation):
  • More than 100ft RG6 high performance cable (Maximum 200ft)
  • RG11 cable for lengths exceeding 200ft (Maximum 300ft)
  • Wall fishing
  • Custom mounting of satellite antenna
Please take note of the following:
  • Hardware is warranted for 1 year; however, driving costs are not included. A travel fee may be charged should service work be required.
  • All installations have a 90 day workmanship guarantee beginning at the time of install. If there are any concerns with an install please contact us.
  • If there’s an issue with the line of site and we’re not able to do the install, we will keep a portion of the installation fee to cover travel and labor costs. If we have to make another trip out because custom mounting equipment is needed or there are things the customer needs to take care of before we come out again to install the equipment then we will charge an extra fee to cover such costs.
  • You are signing a contract and are bound to the length of the contract you sign in which you must keep service for the duration of the contract signed, otherwise, penalties will be charged. Please see the end user agreement for details.
  • We do not hook up any computer components or the computer itself. It is the customer’s responsibility to have the computer in working condition in order to use the internet.
  • We do not hook up VOIP phones unless we sell it AND it is prearranged before installation.
  • We do not and will not customize a customer’s pc or do any sort of cleanup on their computer such as virus/spyware removal. It is the customer’s responsibility to have their pc in good working condition. We will have our own laptop to set up a system and test it out.
  • We do not sell routers and we do not support them. If you need a router hooked up to your modem it is your responsibility to do so and your responsibility to seek out technical support for the router should it fail in any way.
  • The customer, customer’s spouse, or customer’s proxy needs to be home when the installation takes place to sign any papers and acknowledge that all work has been completed to their satisfaction.
